I've been trying to find a good laksa place here in the Bay. This place has really good laksa. The Kaya toast had a lot of butter. Whether you like that is up to you. I would probably get less butter next time.

Delicious laksa, nice family-owned place.

Love the milk tea very much. The dried fishes with the sauce for rice are delicious too.

Shiok lah! The owners of this store are so warm and sweet - this is probably the last standing area in the south bay where you can get authentic style Singaporean food, now that Nanyang Cafe is gone... Definitely try the Kaya Toast / Teh / Laksa / Mee Goreng!

I thought I'd never be able to find fried fish bee hoon in East Bay! Not exactly the same as what you'd find in hawkers in Singapore, but still tasty. I also bought curry puffs to go - delicious! Glad to have found a piece of home here. Will definitely be back.

I loved this place. I miss it so much. My favorite dish is the laksa. Γ’β’Β‘

I'm back in Toa Payoh!! Laksa is shiok and spicy, Singlish is in the background and all is right with the world!

The Korean Restaurant in the plaza I planned to eat at was closed. Then I stumbled upon Kopitiam Cafe. I had an idea of what I wanted to order from the menu I read outside but asked the young man at the register to suggest something and there was a daily special of stuffed veggies or something. I don't really know what it was but it was a really good dining experience. They also gave me a sample of Singaporean curry that was super tasty and different from any curry I was familiar with (Thai, Indian, etc.) I look forward to returning!

Delicious no-fuss location for Singaporean fare. Went here with a large group for Saturday lunch. We had a reservation so they had seating for us. I enjoyed the newspaper-style Singapore comics. All the food was delicious and the family (it's a mom and pop type place) were very patient with our complicated group payment. I'm knocking off 1 star because our waiter suggested 3 appetizers which we agreed to, but brought out 3 orders of each of the 3 appetizers which is not what we ordered. We had only wanted 1 order of each. He did graciously give us some of the extra orders for free to avoid wasting food, and I appreciated that.
